Welcome to the carbine section.

We meet on Thursday evenings along with the black powder section 19:30 - 21:00 and on Sunday mornings 10:00 - 11:30

Carbines are broken down into 2 areas

• .22" rimfire, otherwise known as lightweight sporting rifle
• pistol calibre centre fire often referred to as full bore

The limits for weapons are:

• Maximum calibre .455"
• Maximum velocity 1675 fps
• Maximum muzzle energy 1496 ft/lbs

At present we have 2 teams shooting in national leagues with lightweight sporting rifle, several shooters take part in the Eley competition every year and there are regular club competitions within the club and the county.
